I have a set of very hard to find Wiseco HRC clone pistons. They have close to 500km on them, used on a backup race bike. They are a perfect copy of the HRC piston but use standard Honda rings. They have minor scuffs on the skirts, which is normal considering what HRC filters catch (not much)

If you can find them they run $1500.

Asking $800 plus shipping

Wow sounds like a sweet deal, so who do I trust to get them in the engine :confused2: i have a little more than 10K miles now on a 2005 I have considered time for a slipper clutch and some street filters. I have not yet done the flapper or pair mod. I would love to get these babies :D I would think that the heads would need to be ported and polished to accomidate the new pistons? What else is involved? remapping the PC for sure, do i need to change my oil cooler or oil pan? Sorry to be so needy, thanks in advance :confused2:

The main thing to keep in mind is these guys will bump up your compression. So right off the bat she will go from 11.7:1 to around 14:1 when installed following HRC's instructions. Most people will say that you won't be able to run pump gas anymore but that's not correct. The SBK bikes have to run pump gas, nothing exotic per their rules. The design of the dome will allow that. Usually with the matching cams, valves, springs and ecu the motor will run in the 190-195rwhp range. If you don't want to go that "hardcore", you can always install a set of 06 cams and intake springs and you will see pretty good gains also. I have a set of those here also.

You won't need any additional cooling unless you go with the whole kit, and then I can provide information on how to modify the radiator. Oil pan would be fine. And yes, you need to have the head ported to get the full benefit of the pistons. I have port molds and pics for that also.

Wow very cool :D I am not realy looking to get hardcore but this sounds like a nice improvement and I need to consider $$$ for installation and a slipper clutch,

If you don't mind used stuff, I can always ask around and see if I can find a STM for you. At one point I had 3 here, all with 2 races on them, so they looked brand new. I've sold two, kept one but I'll ask again just in case. The STMs usually run in the 1000-1100 range, I usually sell a used one for about $750.

About the pistons, they really work and imo they are some of the best out there, especially since you don't have to mess with the service life and cost of HRC rings. They get expensive quick.

WOW there is an idea so I could buy the motor 8K miles? very nice :D Would you then be intrested in installing pistons, valves, guides, springs, cams, etc.... Heads need to be ported and polished correct? I then need the ECU and what am I mising? Ohh the clutch for sure , can you PM me back for a rough estimate on I guess just building the motor wiht the parts you have for sale, thanks HP

:mod: Stolen! Haha Jk. Quick question, is there major benefits of the 07' engine over the 05'? What kind of work, if possible, would there be trying to put an 07 engine on an 05

06/07 engine has a higher rev limit, different cams, different valve springs, slightly different intake port design, higher compression and a little different valves than a 04/05. The engine will bolt right up with no problems. If you run the 04/05 harness and ecu, you will need some extra work with wiring, nothing major. My world superbike motor is a 06, running it in a 05 repsol.
