It has an "Assist Slipper" clutch and the engine is 2.5 Kilos lighter.
The site is interactive in that you can rotate/zoom in on the bike.
I like the integrated turn signals and I hope to see one in person. I did really like the styling of my 07' but the more I see what the 08' looks like, the more it doesn’t really look as bad as the initial photos I saw.
Rumors about the 09’ have already started on the net too. According to the site below, the 2009 will be the revival of the RVF1000 with a 200bhp, 1000cc V4, quite possibly making the 2008 the last year for the CBR1000RR.

I certainly hope there is a REPSOL paint scheme on either the 08' or 09', I am also still hoping to find/arrest the thieves that have my 07'.

I like the bike, One of the things I dont like that is not cheaply changeable is the same old 3 spoke wheel that they have ran forever. Everything else is a quick fix. there are tons of things i didnt like about about any stock bike. . . and this is no different. STOCK SUCKS!:D

It reminds me of the old Katana's in one shot (dont ask me why...it just does) what about that cool:confused2: yellow & black. I guess if I absolutely had to have one, Like, I didnt have any say about it, I would have to go with the black. It kinda hides the looks a little.....Maybe that's why you gotta pay the premium for black:dontknow: Slipper/assist clutch would be cool though

Just not sleek enough looking for me. The balance isn't there, the front looks like a tub of S**T and the tail isn't a big enough handle to carry it. If it had the front of the '04-'07 I would probably like it, without the nut-bag of course!

Ducati redeemed themselves, looks-wise, with the 1098, after they killed the 916,996,998 look with that 999, maybe Honda will do the same.

that limited one is starting to grow on me....I wont buy one but it looks ok...probably better in person....ditch the exhaust, mirrors and rear license plate section and it would look sweet......I will be keeping the Repsol.....will buy a new CBR in 2010 or so....

I agree with 1eyebrother. I look at the 5 paint schemes next to each other, and the only one that doesn't give me heartburn is the "limited" scheme.
