07 Repsol Tank Sticker

i am in need of the actual decal that goes on top of the tank that says "Repsol". The moron tech who did the sticker set on mine put it too high, and I need to remove it to get the Hayden sig. decal in place. Any spares out there? Or do you think I am gonna have to eat it and hope Honda can order me a new one?

Honda is probably your best option....unless someone scanned the original decal......

Thanks, but it isn't the one I am looking for. I have that one, but my repsol sticker is in the wrong place, and I can't get it to fit. Think I just call Honda, hate to think someone thinks I am :deadhorse:

Sad news is, I believe you're going to have to buy the $100+ kit , that's what the orange repsol sticker comes in. I just ordered one from Ron Ayers, around $95.00. They want the VIN and your drivers license.

I think I have a black vinyl REPSOL tag still around, I'll see if I can find it and check the size, if it fits you can have it.

My bad - didn't read that one close enough.

I haven't installed my "REPSOL" decal on the tank yet. If you don't find one, I can take it to a local decal shop and have a few duplicates made. There are probably other folks out there that would like a copy...

Now that sounds like a great idea. Hell, I bet alot on here would like some. I would take a few just to add to the tool chest or something.

I would as my dealer did the same thing and I cannot put on my Hayden sticker without a new Repsol sticker.

I'll go talk to them and see what it would cost.

I'll ask about recreating the decal with the orange background and also with no background (just the letters) as the original decal's orange background actually doesn't match the orange tank.

Same problem on my '07. There isn't enoguh room on the tank for the signature sticker with the Repsol decal mis-located. I seem to remember this topic coming up before in this forum and it was suggested that the dealer would fix the problem if you confronted them with it. Must have been a bad day at the factory. Too much Saki the night before.
