Hmmm.... maybe this will become reality.... and generate some great competition among the Japanese bikes trying to catch up!

:iagree:
220...think it will really make that...or more like 200 and people will say it's 220... You know how people get about "bike horsepower"...lol

Could be 220 hp at made at the crank? 12.5.1 compression wiht 13,500 rpms don think that would generate 220 at the rear wheel :confused2: I am comparing the SBK specs the compression is 14+ and that is a 190 / 195 rear wheel HP in some cases 215 rwhp but that is an extreme case wiht compression ratios into the 16's.... so must be 220bhp is what the engine makes , so how much of that is transfered to the ground{constant force} at the wheel will be less.

Its already hard enough to keep the front wheel down on the Repsol. With 220 hp I would just put some wings on the bike and take flight:eek:

I have always wanted a Aprilla...
At the beginning of my latest bike search... it was a toss up between the Mille R and the R1.
Then they released the REPSOL and it was all over.... :D
I will quite probably own an Aprilia before it's all said and done with (especially if we're talking about 200+ horsepower!)!
