I see....do those spools come with the Gilles lifters?
Or do they sell those separately?

They come with the stand.

They come with the stand.

So for those of us that already have a stand, sold separately.

I've been eyeing these myself... I really like the way you adjust the chain with these as opposed to the crappy stock adjusters.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, but no one's questioning the use of the stand.

I'm simply stating that the spool-type adapter on the Pit Bill stand pictured is not what comes on the typical Pit Bull stand.

For those of us that already have a stand (with paddles or the "V" style spool receiver) would have to buy these adapters for our stand to work with the Gilles adjusters.

Well my pitbull stands came with the round bar with the rubber coating with the v bracket Every set of pitbull and vortex stand i have saw has them!

Right you are Mike....that is the setup that came with my Pitbull stand...but the Gilles requires like a "spool" adapter for you to mount on your stand.

That would have to be purchased from Gilles or comes with the lifters.

I like the adjusters better than the stock ones, but they offer no protection like the spools do. I know lots of people who have had a low speed lay down that the spools took the rash instead of the swingarm.:)

no the liferts just come by themselves. You turn the little round bar up and they slide into the lifter.
