I will have a price by thurs or friday for the complete set of three. these are the closest to the original that i have seen, and it has been a long road to making them. so let me know who wants them so i will know how many to order.

Just out of curiousity....can you make this set with another number?
Doesnt have to be Nicky theme'd (with the star).

They are gonna start cutting them on monday. I have to cut 6 sets or so for a guy out in Kentucky somewhere. (met him at laguna) So pm me and give me your orders and i will give you a pay pall address. I suggest you order more than one nose decal cuz there tough to install over the marker lamp and windscreen. I guess it would be about $14 more. :)

Ok, got em, installed em, have three issues:

First they are dual layer, which means raised edges where the white overlays the red. Easy to snag with a cleaning rag and eventually edhes peel up (especially the stars, small pointy edges). In fact, I hit the edges of the stars during final wipedown and damaged one so I used both sets I got and eliminated the stars.

Second, the angle of the numbers is perfect on the right side, but wrong on the left. See below: The first picture (right side) you see that the angle sweeps back with the lines of the rear cowl (as it should). The second pic (left side) the angle is straight (no sweep). I installed t\hem so that the bottom edge and upper edge are identically placed (last pic) but the angle needs to be mirror image for the left to have the same angle as the right. Individually they look fine either way, but when you see them both on the bike the difference is very obvious.

Last, the font is not the same as the pictures of Troy's bike at the beginning of this thread. Very different from mine (compare them). Mine are not are curved (more squared off). Thr ones at the beginning of the thread are nicer looking.

Overall they are very nice, and the angles are obviously a bitch to design. I am just overly anal about things being symetrical (I am an engineer after all!).

WOW nice work MM I also noticed that the decal on troy's bike have a larger interior space, like the letters have a biger definition on the inside like the hole of the donught so to speak or top of the 6 same as bottom of the nine but the numbers being curvy are showing better spaces an easier to see not as filled in or jumbled together looking. I LOVE THE IDEA they still look great and are a very nice adition ROCK ON BRO!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Can you use the ole soapy water trick to get them on the way you want and then squeegy them down? :confused2:

Ok i have been at the sema convention for a couple days, but back now! yes they are layered decals, not printed. Printed decals are almost twice as much $ so i have been running these. And the second issue being the sweep is the fact that if the left side matched the right the sweep would be backwards (sweeping forward not back) And the decals on my bike now were lost on a old computer at there store so we had to start from scratch, thats why they took so long and are not quite the same.

I did not look closely at them before i shipped, Were the stars laid over the # separately? if so that is wrong, because i dont see how they could have been removed like you did cuz its two total layers, not four! I am going down today to iron these issues out so i can print more. This has been such a pain in the ass already because of there mistakes but i WILL make it right!

YES!

I noticed the reason for the angle difference. When on the right side, the angle is on the TOP side of the number. Since it is a "69", its still 69 when you turn it upside down. So the printer simply swapped the position and on the left side the angle is on the BOTTOM, which is why the number lays out different.

If they can mirror the numbers, so that the angle is on the top for both left and right, they will apply the same on both sides.

The #s are mirrored, its the sweep that makes it look off.You cant compare the body lines to the decal because the body lines taper with no sweep. You would have to taper them then sweep them, or have no sweep and we tried that and it looked very wrong. But it looks like i am gonna have to send out a new set with the correct bold size and the star is built in, not added over the top. (I am ready to go in there and just go postal)

They are mirrored left to right, they need to be mirrored top to bottom.

Look at both, a left and a right (not on a bike, but on the paper). Note what edge tapers, and which is straight. The TOP edge of the right side is angled, the bottom is straight, while the BOTTOM edge of the left side is angled and the top is straight. They need to be the same, they are opposite.
