I've read the comments on the JR Repsol jacket and concluded that it's a good investment looks/price/quality. However, does anyone have experience with this leather Dainese jacket? I think it looks good.

VR46 just sold one to a member here....he should have some great feedback on that brand.

Hope to hear his feedback then. I'm about to buy one, but I want to know if it's worth it.

The Rossi replica was nice - a little heavy. Since it's a mid-range jacket, the fit is a little generic. I have a Santa Monica now, and it's more flexible like a Bora jacket or a full race sit. I think that the Pedrosa replica also has more protection inserts than the Rossi had. I would look and see how much perforation the jacket has.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info.
This jacket has protection insert at shoulder and elbow and forearm. There's also room for a spine-protector, but it's not included. Unfortunately the jacket is for sale in Germany, so I can't fit it.

I think the D-store in CA still has them in stock. I believe he will do returns if something doesn't fit.

^ No, those were discontinued and sold out last month or so. Pedrosa is no longer sponsored so there will be no '08 Repsol Dainese. I was going to get one on sale since it's overpriced.
