You should've posted more pictures... :p

Think it's worth mentioning in the ad body that it's a genuine REPSOL, not an aftermarket special?

Good luck with the sale, though I hate to see you get rid of it.

I'm amazed how cheap these bikes are in the US. If I would buy this bike, with these specs, over here it would cost me at least $14000!

Good luck with the sale!

Hopfully it will be replaced with a Rc51 or 999. Possibily a 1098.

So Mike, what's the status here? I see you have been posting again here recently. Please tell me you've decided to keep the Repsol. :)

Na Im not a sell out I just have bike A D D. Every two to three years i start gettin the itch for a new bike. I love the repsol but i would rather have a twin of some variety. I would love to have another rc51, 1098, or rsv millie. Just ready for a new cracker.

I think you need more pictures because not every square inch of the bike was photographed.:poke:

Here is option 2 KEEP THE REPSOL and get another bike:fryingpan:

What is this world coming to when a man wants to get rid of his Repsol for something else.:loco::willy_nilly::idk::yikes::doh::loser::wtf::censored:

I would like something more exotic like a 1098r or an rsv factory. I love my repsol but I want a twin again. You would think this bike would be easy to sell.

As for the piocs they help your bikes sell better, you can see every thing on the bike and you know what you are getting.

Well...despite that there are more than $20K between the two bikes you are looking at...even with the R...forget about being exotic...you see these darn 1098 everywhere...

But then again....I agree with you....twins are way different than inline fours...

The price for what you are getting thoough isnt all that bad. Hell id settle for anothet rc51 if i could find a low milage one or a carry over.

Hey dude, do what's best for you. The bike looks great but you know most cheapskates won't pay a decent price. They all want to "do you a favor", by taking it off your hands. :wtf:

I am in the process of getting my first Repsol and can't wait until next week when I pick it up. The new 1098 is friggin' sick. But it's also expensive. Do your thing bro, the colors are still there regardless of what you're riding.

Last week I came closed to buying a 1098S. But, I was a day too late as the bike had been sold the day before :(.

I'm still in search for a 1098S. But luckily I don't have to sell any of my bikes, especially my Repsol.

Good luck with your sale.

Guys I would love to keep the repsol, but dont want two payments and two insurance payments. I can justify one payment to the wife but two would be a mother ****er!

Heres the solution to your problem.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-RC51-Honda-RC51-Repsol-low-miles-great-shape_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ50006QQihZ008QQitemZ180200735646QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

This way you can have the best of both worlds.

You want a twin go out and buy an 07 and you will have twins , so easy:D Or I could sell you my Triumph Scrambler at a deal, you know up 20% then down 10%, I know I'm to generous.

msalser1000
January 4th, 2008, 07:05 PM
I would say the 1098s. Unless i can find an extra 20 grand to buy the R.

$5905, WTF OVER?? :weirdface::bs:

Have you tried cycletrader.com?? Wait.....what am I saying??

Don't you just love these schmuks who think your item is not worth paying a decent price for? :fryingpan: :fork:

Anyway, good luck and this may be a stupid question but with the new line of Ducati's (1098, 848 etc) do they still need the valve adjustments every few thousand miles?? Just wondering if they still require an additional paycheck worth of maintenance and if they still sound like they are about to fall apart when at idle.

:poke:

JUST KIDDING!! Ducati's are sick ass bikes. Hmmm let me see, Rossi in 04, Hayden in 06......... Pedrosa in 08!!!

Actually i ended the auction, I was getting antsy and a guy was wanting me to end it then he backed out on me.

The servie intervals on the ducs are like our bikes now after the first adjustment.
