Whats your opinion on Repsol replica...replicas.

Like say me putting Repsol plastic on my 600rr. :confused2:

Tim was talking about doing it a while ago and I just didn't like the thought of trying to look like a 1000. Even though there are smaller Repsols in the race world.

Now the more I look at the Repsol the more I think why not?

Yes I need to fix my car before getting plastic. BUT this is a thought. Either that or just tear the bike apart and paint what i've got some solid color. Maybe something odd like baby blue/silver/white.

Hell ya! Custom paint is custom paint, might as well do what you want! Its a ton more work to build a repsol rather than buy it off the showroom floor so i have allot of respect for that.

I want to get extra stickers made though... put "mini" above the Repsol

dont see why not considering the 600 looks just like the 1000. the mini above the repsol would be cool.

I say do it. Any bike looks better with a race scheme on it, especially Repsol.

Actually, the first generation molds had some issues...that is what I have.
This company has since sold those molds to another Hong Kong seller, who you will see on ebay, and updated to a much nicer product.

The issues on the first gen. werent that serious, just mounting holes had to be enlarged and some of the OEM screws/bolts couldnt be used.
I spent a few dollars at Lowes and got the hardware I needed to complete the install.

Alot of the guys from the "other site" are buying the new stuff that Auctmarts1 is selling and are quite pleased with them.

Here is what they offer for the 600rr

I say do it - the REPSOL scheme looks great on the 1000 and should look just as good on the 600.

In the end, it's your bike and your opinion is the only one that matters.
