Sad to say I am selling the Repsol. I know I know, I shouldn't but I am just tired of riding and taking the risk. I had a buddy on his 2006 1000RR stop by to visit after work yesterday afternoon. About 15 minutes after he left, I got a call from him telling me he just totalled his bike. Some old guy was mowing the ditch on a curvy section of road we frequent and the old guy covered the pavement with grass and leaves. When my buddy came around the corner at 60mph, he said it was just like ice and the bike lowsided and flipped in the ditch. We always wear our gear and because of this my buddy was able to walk away without a scratch. After picking him and his bike up, we came to the conclusion that we are done. I am 31 years old with a little boy and I can honestly say I have too much to lose.
So here is the bike info:
Asking $10,000
Located in Central Iowa
4300 miles
Almost stock with a Jardine Dual Outlet slipon (Carbon/Ti)
Never wrecked or dropped, always garaged.
All sponsor decals are installed and in the correct positions.
I also have a Shoei Picotte helmet, orange/black Alpinestars jacket with gloves that I would let go with the bike for an additional $450. I got a good deal on the bike from my dealer so that is why I am only asking $10,000. Let me know if any of you are interested.

Dang man - sorry to hear about your friend, but like you said, at least he walked away unscathed.
I won't preach to you about the decision, or try to convince you otherwise as I'm sure you're probably struggling with the decision. Good luck with the sale and props for making a tough decision on behalf of your family...

Hate to lose another Repsol member....but then again, whoever buys this one will have to commit to becoming a member.
