Wow!!! 85 members entered but only on can win. Since it took me a few days to get down to the shop to pull a winner, I put a bunch of Repsol goodies in the backpack.

Along with the Axio Repsol backpack, the winner will receive the following:

2991

Repsol hat,
Repsol t-shirt,
Repsol polo shirt,
Repsol bumper stickers,
Repsol patch,
and a Diecast Nicky Hayden replica RC211V. :)

I know I usually announce the winner here, but I thought I'd let the video speak for itself. Shot with my fancy new HD video camera, no expense has been spared. ;)

October 2007 Contest Results (Axio Repsol Backpack) (http://www.repsolforum.com/forums/local_links.php?catid=8&page=1#linkid19)

Congratulations to the winner, and for those of you who did not win, we've got a bunch more goodies to giveaway. :)

Hmmmmm whatever keeps the buyers away from that bike is music to my ears. Although I know you want to be the only one around that area with a Repsol. If I do get it I have only seen one other member here from around Tampa that has one, but knowing my luck when I move to tampa there will be Repsols everywhere. No matter I would still get one.

Apparently you and hondaman69 have something worked out for one but if you hear of a good deal on a different one, could you let me know. Just to let you know when I went on my Quest to find out if there are any 2007 Repsols left over I did find one in Jacksonville North Carolina. If you wanted to get one closer to home let me know because I still have the dealerships contact info. But if 1 eye brother found one close to him for you that is cool too considering it seems like he is trying to get rid of all the Repsols around him and I dont want to take a sale from him. Let me know either way because I have found out there are still some out there.

Jason the one in North Carolina is 13,534 out the door. I think that is kind of pricey so that is why I am going with the one that 1 eye brother hooked me up with. It seems like alot of the ones on the east coast are going for about that. It kind of sounds like the dealerships are trying to get as much money they can out of them. :confused2:

You need to read the fine print on this bike for sale because the winner of this auction will also pay for tax, title, shipping, and documentation fee of 249.50. :confused2:

Just to let you know I called them already about the bike and asked them if you are out of state buying the bike does this apply and they said yes you have to pay for Ohio tax, title shipping, and doc fee.:eek::eek::eek:

Thanks for all of the info H69 and 1 eye. I've seen a few out on this end and your right, some hear the "limited edition" and jack up the price waiting for some sap to come along. Awhile back I stopped at a dealership to look at an 05 Raven R-1. It was used with over 5K on it. The salesman stated he had just sold it to a Navy guy for $15,000 and when he rode it off the lot he didn't get 1 mile down the road and laid it down. After spitting my coke all over the floor and laughing hysterically, I left. He was still trying to get me to look at an CBR-600 before I left. He was going to cut me a deal. :skep:

With the holidays coming I'm concentrating on the family, but my goal is to be on the track for VIR AMA nationals in August. I'm still looking though. A great deal may be to hard to pass up. ;)

Hey H69. I've got to ask because of what you've said in some of your posts and looking at where your present location is and where you said you were going......You a Coastie?? Are you out at Barbers Point getting ready to go to Clearwater? Let me guess, Herc's? Just wondering because I am a Coastie as well.

Just a quick question for Jacobs dad.
Can your helmet fit in the Repsol backpack???I can answer that... Nope, no way in hell will a helmet fit in there. :) It's got a lot of really nice plush pockets and little areas to keep things.

Here's a shot of the inside, I would think a leather jacket wouldn't fit. I'm not sure your size, but none of my leather jackets would fit in any backpack. ;)

Is it a good idea to put your leathers in a backpack after you have been riding, or should you air them out. I just dont want to get a backpack to put my leather jacket and helmet in if it is not a good idea to leave your leather jacket in the backpack.:confused2::confused2:

The point of the backpack is bling!

I've got a $12 fold-up backpack I keep in the trunk (yes, it folds up that small). I can fit a helmet, a jacket, etc in the backpack easily.

here is a question that enyone can answer. Is it a good idea to keep your leather jacket in a backpack all day or does it need to be hung up to air out?:confused2::confused2:

The reason I am asking is because originally I was going to get the Repsol backpack to put my helmet and leather jacket in, but since it wont fit in a Repsol backpack I was considering weather or not to get another backpack. just dont want to get a backpack and put my helmet and leathers in it if the leathers need to be hung up after wearing them to and from work.

Obviously, if you sweat at all in them you would want to air them out or they will start to smell over time.

Helmets should always be aired out after wearing them. Regular cleaning helps also.

What's the point of putting it in a backpack?

Are you carrying it around with you all day or something?
