Just bought some Protons from the site sponsor. Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the '06 fit the '05/'04? They look a little goofy as they don't sit flush at all.

Jeff,

Ive seen some pics of both the 05 and 07....and I do believe there is a difference.

You know there is a right and left Proton....I thought there was a defect in mine when I first got em.
Didnt know that each was specifically made for each side.....with that being said, Check that and if you still have issues....Maybe one of the 07 guys who is sporting the Protons can chime in.

The fairings are def. different, but the blinker holes should be the same. Try the left - right thing. Or return them and get the cool watsen's :D

These actually stick out of the turn signal pocket at least half an inch.

Here's some pics....

No, that is not correct. They should be sunken into the hole, not sticking out like that. There is a difference between the '04-'05 and '06-'07 and they should have different part numbers and I see that the Repsol Store does have separate choices for the two models.

Think you got some issues there. :confused2: Ive heard that the 07 hole is deeper than the 05.

Have some on my 07 and they fit great. They are side specific, pretty easy to figure it out once

you get the right ones.

No cool rotors like BK, but Ill take any chance to post my baby too.....

I've got a rocket text and I've also been down while wearing it. It basically shredded the jacket but not a hint of road rash so the in fact do work really well and in the summer time they are awsome. I was living in Japan at the time and the humidity is crazy (Okinawa) to be exact. Good Jacket though...just my 2 cent's.....
