Im not sure where I was reading it, maybe here. A sticker pack for the 07 Repsol. A S/E pack if you own an 07. I do and would like to find out the scoop. How much? And do you keep them or apply them? I guess they arenot on my bike now. As you can tell by my pic. Thank you for any info. Or next step HRC.

They should come with your bike and be applied by the dealer. If you didnt get them you better

call them and make them get a set for you. Last time I talked to my dealer they said they are

no longer being made. Think they are around $110 a set.

Correction on CowboyAdams post.

They should come with the bike and are typically not installed by the dealer. The decal kit is part of the purchase. If your dealer did not supply them, he did not deliver the product you paid for.

I'm not trying to be an ass when I say this, so don't take it that way. Do a search - there are three or four threads on this exact topic.

My dealer wouldnt let me take my bike till they put them on. Said they wanted them to be

just right. Either way I just got my OEM set of sponsor decals for the 07s.

Should be goin to the decal shop Monday to check prices for a reproduction set.

Hi guys,
Here in Oz they come with the bike and you can choose if the dealer should put them on or not.

When I dropped mine and got all new fairings, all the stickers came with the new fairings.

I personally think it looks a bit naked without them.. ;)

If my Dealer wants my $$$$ for other stuff I would think they should be able to supply them. I have spent lots of $ and dont want to be trivial but I want them plain and simple. I let you know how it goes down thanks.

In the good ole USA, the bike comes with all decals. The front fender, upper fairing, lowers, mids, everything.

That bike doesn't have any of the sponsor decals, just the standard Honda decals.

Look here (http://www.repsolforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=357&referrerid=138) for the '07 decal placement guide. This will give you a good idea of the decals you're looking for.

Not sure my dealer will come through for the stickers I think are suppose to come with the bike. Now what? I looked on Hondas site. Nothing there. I would like to get them without charge if they are part of the new 07. If not what are my options? I want to get them one way or the other. Thanks for any info.

A couple of us are workin on copies. I have a full OEM set.... Not for sale. I know they arent making

them anymore and they are already gettin harder to find. If you want to wait till next week I

should have a price on a set by then. Sucks that your dealer screwed you like that. You should

at least get them to pay for a copied set or something.

Thank you! Did all of you people that bought brand new bikes 05/07 have the stickers already on it? Or should they have them at the dealer for me to apply or Honda sends them? WTF? I got my 07 right off the showroom floor. I want all of the proper stuff that comes with buying a ltd edition bike dammit! Thanks again for any help.

If it was on the floor they should have been on it. Mine was still in the crate, they put them

on for me. They come with the bike in the crate in a box with the windscreen and a few other

things. You need to go to the dealer and tell them you want your decals. Thats about all you can do.

Whether it was on the floor or not has nothing to do with it. None of the REPSOL's I ever saw on the floor had the decals installed (turns out, HONDA directs the dealers not to install the decals...

See the following note from the '07 dealer set-up instructions:

NOTE: American Honda recommends hand delivering the REPSOL decal to retail customers at time of purchase. For a limited period of time, Honda Riders Club of America will send Nicky Hayden World Championship commemorative decals direct to the registered retail purchaser of 2007 CBR1000RR Repsol Edition units. At this time, the customer may apply the limited edition decals and the REPSOL decal to the tank top.
The World Championship commemorative decals will not be sent until the selling dealership submits the vehicle warranty registration. For maximum customer satisfaction, submit all warranty registrations immediately.

Having said that...would you rather do them yourself or have the dealer install them...if they mess it up you can at least complain...if you mess up, you still can complain...but that probably does not get you that far... ;)

I'm a perfectionist, control freak, and am good with my hands, so I would much rather install them myself.

I don't think someone else would take as much time and care with my bike as I would, and would hate to live with it forever if they weren't "perfect".

Like I said, I'm a control freak and a perfectionist.... to each his own.

I can understand you right there...I am also the same way....unfortunately not with mechanical things...so I may have the dealer install them...at least they seem to understand how to do it...they were actually telling me that the stickers come with the bike, that they haven't put them on yet, but they are certainly willing to do that since they need to be in a certain area etc. on the bike.

Granted, theory and praxis are sometimes two very different pair of shoes though...

I wouldn't exactly classify this as mechanical... but do what you're comfortable with.

Someone on here had a decal shop install the decals for them. Cost 'em like $50, but again, to each his own.

Print and supply a copy of the decal placement guide if you go that route.

Okay...for me everything is mechanical that does not involve a TFT display and a keyboard...yeah, yeah, I know... :loser:

However, I have to admit that I looked at the placement guide today and saw that they are really going for precise work there...down to the millimeter...so I may change my mind....and then...first I need to buy a bike anyway.. :)

All of the ones at my dealer had them on it if it was on the floor. Mine came in the crate and

it wasnt on me. Im just speaking from what I have seen. Either way, I have my decals on mine

and now have an extra set. So.... I could give 2 $hits right now.

PM me for the number to a dealer in Cali that knows the process to get oem replacement stickers. I used him no problem about 3 months ago. Ordered two sets from him, and had them shipped to my front door in Florida cause know other dealer could figure out how to order them. The dealer has to call Honda and verify your VIN#.

All
I have complete sets of stickers arriving in the very near future. The printer has all the stickers ready to go apart from the one that has the Japanese writing on it. He is working on that one, once complete he is ready to print all. I have 10 sets coming, they are going to be approx $40 plus shipping. Hopefully by the end of the week they will all be complete.

He is still working on the Hayden stickers, the one's that came with the 07 model. The big problem is that they have gold edging which is done by screen printing. This is a very expensive way to print and way to expensive to make it worth replicating such a small amount. He is going to run a sample and I will take a look and tell him if it worth doing more.
