I had a great time checking out a new track to me... the fastest I've been on a track, hitting redline in 5th gear on the front banking while getting within 5 feet of the outside wall...very exciting!!! :eek:
Weather was perfect, track was good, tires were awesome...good safe day.
Fastrack Riders was the trackday organizer and I have to say, they run a class operation and a tight ship. Every bike gets a transponder and they record lap times to make sure you are placed in the correct group...and they post the times after each session. They downgraded about half a dozen riders from my group.
I was standing at the fence when one rider had a nasty high side on the chicane as you exit the banking...doing about 110 in the A group...I was going through at just under 100 there, slowing down from just over 150...very fun section.
