I was cutting on a stop light from 1 lane 2 an other and a had to stop in-front of a bus, the light was red, but the bus went forward a bit more and got me in the shoulder, dragged me for less than 1 feet and stopped.
thank god he stopped, he pinned me right foot to mi bike so he was pushing my foot to the bike, I had some sidi boots and thanks to them my leg did not break, its swollen and bruised but no breaks, my shoulder got dislocated but wen I got up it popped back in.
I'm in good shape considering that a bus hit me, but my bike got scratched up.
I need to buy the fairing (left) the one that has the repsol decal, I have an 2007 repsol.
any ideas where can I buy it, tried ebay but no luck. the only have 05's

Happy to hear you're OK.....I would think the only place to get the fairing in good shape would be from a Honda dealer. I wish you luck......

Welcome to the forum - kinda of a rough first thread, but at least you're ok for the most part.
I'm sure there are other places to get plastics - there have been a few threads on the same topic in the past, with suggested web sites.
I'd search for you and post a link to the threads, but your search button will get the same results as mine.

Sorry about the wreck man I hope you get everything fixed.
I hate to rain on your parade, but OMG I saw a tourist bus pull out in front of a bike ahead of me today while we were out christmas shopping. When we got closer I saw that it was a new Repsol with temporary tags on it. From what I saw the bus pulled in front of him and made the Repsol run into a jersey wall sideways screwing up the entire left side, he didnt look hurt, and I couldnt pull over to help him because I was in the middle lane with lots of traffic behind me, also the cops were showing up, but from what I saw the boy couldnt have been any heavier than 95 pounds soaking wet, and from what I remember from what the dealer told me about him was the Repsol was his frist bike that he ever owned and didnt know how to ride very well.

He definately needed some help. Kind of makes me wonder why the dealership sold him the bike when they knew it was his first bike and that he couldnt ride very well.:confused2:

+1.. I was thinking the same thing! Wish more dealers would pay attention rather than pay the bills... but I guess you can't put all the blame on them.. just sux to see a beauty bike like that go down...I mean.. sux that HE went down..;) lol Definately too much bike for a newbie.. Darn near too much for Vets...lol..

It's not the dealership's responsibility to cull out the inexperienced riders and sell them the little bikes. Honestly, you can get killed on a 600 just as fast as you can on a 1000.
Should they bring every one out back for a riding test before selling them a bike? I don't think so.

:iagree: Thats true...99% of the time, peoples wrecks have nothing to do with power..but seriously...a CBR 1000RR "Repsol" for your 1st bike? 99% of the time, that's a wreck waiting to happen....
Now for your enjoyment....here is a guy with too much power..

The last thing I want is the government or some government entity dictating to me ( more than they do now ) what I can ride and when....

Not trying to say that the dealers should make sure they can ride. Just wonder how they feel knowing that they have sold a bike bigger then one somebody should learn on knowing that he didnt know how to ride. Oh well I guess a sell is a sell and it shouldnt matter from what I am hearing.

all im gonna say is, some people get a SV650 as a first, and crash it right away , and some get 1000, and busa as a first. It depends on self control, and one that got a busa had it for a while, and never went down......

Dealer should have encouraged MSF and sugested a smaller bike. At the very least if he was under 100lbs they should have lowered the bike for him! Should a dealer sell a 15yr old a Corvette Z06 with only a learners permit? ...no, they know he will total it but they only care about the comission. What if he kills a dozen kids at school doing donuts anf hoping a curb on the lawn?
Sorry to hijack but it isn't just power, it's weight. Yes a little girlie boy can ride one if you use Pedrosa as an example but he has guys holding the bike when he gets on and off and more then enough experience to make the bike dance out of a hazard ...unless he's next to Hayden. Ok use Stoner as the example.
Sorry you got hurt, bro.
