I would love some options on goin to one of the 2 gps here. I have an 07. I want to find the best single person trip. Does Repsol still give you the good treatment if you bring your bike. That is the type of trip im looking for. I shall be asking more ? on the us GP,s

It's too early to know the exact setup for next year except to say that for Laguna there will be at least two Repsol owner friendly opportunities to participate, but at Indy it's a whole different ball of wax, and it will be more difficult to pull together trackside events, expect maybe some free tickets to the race, but that's only a guess right now.
I just spoke with my good friend at Repsol tonight, and it will be January or February before we sit down and really start planning the events for Repsol owners.
Please be patient in the meantime and I will make sure we announce things here plenty early next year.

I saw the other threads but this one is up.
I want to go to Laguna this year if it is going to be fun with the repsol gang. I live in Arizona but I will take off a few days from work and roll over to Cali on the bike. I don't know how much riding that far will hurt but I am willing to give it a go. I have a pit stop in so.cal already about half way because I can camp out a my familes houses to rest up. for the second half, its about 900 miles all together I think and maybe I could get my girl to follow me in the cage for extra gas and stuff. Keep us updated Robert, I am looking forward to it if I can make it.

Here in Malaysia normally the organizer will hold up a gathering in the town for all bikers; even from Singapore and Thailand. Lead them straight to the main grandstand where you can park your bike right up to the entrance.
There were around 2000 bikes in the grandstand parking for this year Sepang GP.

We had 15 Repsols in the Repsol Hospitality Tent this year at Laguna, and 40 Repsols at my party Saturday night before the race...great fun.

What are the chances of free tickets?
We bought our camping pass but have waited to buy our tickets to Laguna.

It's always a tough call to even mention next year so early, because people invariably expect answers that I just can't give yet.
Big Kahuna and I will make official announcements when we are able, but I wouldn't espect to be able to do that until at least March at this point. Tickets are available until the last minute if you do General Admission, but if you are looking for special seating in suites or grandstands, I wouldn't gamble on waiting too long.
The free packages that we give away are very limited so you need to make the decision on your own and then when we announce things officially you can either sell whatever tickets you have if you are one of the lucky few ticket winners, or just enjoy the upgrade that goes with the winners package. Last year, if you already had tickets, we just gave the missing parking and tent access which is great all by itself.
Whether you win or not, there will be a very special event on Saturday night before the race that all are welcome to, but includes exclusive Cannery Row access and special Repsol parking for those that bring their Repsol bikes. Those arrangements haven't been made with the management yet for 2008, so make sure you are watching and participating in the forum in March 2008 and there should be some news then.
So, please be patient and don't ask for information that I just can't offer at this time.
Cheers...RR

it is being a long while since Robert has said anything in this forum.
does any one knows where he is??? i could not find any threads from him...but this is the last one i saw from him.
he may have some news about perhaps about the new event....who knows it may not happen this year.
but this is something that was in the air at the beginning of the year.
Robert may be busy doing some work since he work in real state.

I'm interested in just stopping by. I'll probably skip bringing the Repsol though. I'll have my 5 year old with me and so I won't ride much anyway.
I'm not wanting anything free or even to get access to anything...just something else to look at while I'm there.
