I'm still trying to find the site, but I found one that chromed the covers...but they would paint under/over??? them so the it was kind of like a painted chrome. I was going to have them paint a Repsol emblem on mine and then have them chrome over it. I can't find the damn site now...:confused2:

Since I did fix the whole in the cover I thought about just getting a carbon fiber cover from the site RR recommended but I thought that I might find one used cheaper. I bet to have it chromed would be expensive in comparison, but maybe not, let me know if you find the site.

I think maybe their deal was, you send them yours, they send you a chrome one back.. I was going to tell them that it came from a Repsol and I wanted mine back.. Who knows if they would have gone for it or not.. And I do remember it being a few hundred for the cover. They are hard to come by unless someone just switches theirs out for a Chrome or aluminum. Otherwise, most of them are scratched from going down. If for some reason I end up finding a chrome one I like that I don't have to trade mine in on, you can have first dibs. You'll probably want to replace yours before then though.. Im slow in the parts exchange dept... I still have yet to put on the HEL lines I won last month:mad: Where does all my time go??:confused2:

Well, considering that you are single one guess is booze and boobs.........maybe??? LOL
I am not in too big of a hurry to replace it, it serves the purpose just has a patch spot on the cover that does not look good.

Check ebay for used. I just bough one for the right side. I could use the left but I just superglued the damage the turn signal did from the drop. Freeken big booty X thought the rear peg was a pogo stick and I should have cranked preload for that ghetto booty.
Repsol store has aluminum covers. I don't see the plastic cover costing much. I thought the rear hugger would be alot but it was like $15. The plastics are money.
There used to me a Taiwan seller that made replica's on ebay claiming an OEM fit and don't be fooled by chinese crap but I can't find them anymore.
