You can put a piece of wood under the kickstand then just make sure you stand on the right side so it doesnt

fall over on ya. Or I just leave the kick stand down and hold the strap of the pass seat while Im standing on the right

side and balance the bike and put the stand under with my left arm. It takes some getting used to.

I want to see it done. If I dropped it I would probably rather have it fall on me than bust it up. I guess the best would be to get it standing level as possible. Can you lift it up and down solo easy? I cant bring myself to do it solo yet. Me and a bud used it works great. GOOD DEAL COWBOY!:)

First, I get the rear stand close to the correct position.

Then I stand on the rear left-hand side (left side as if you're sitting on the bike), hold on to the footpeg or anything else sturdy, stand the bike upright. I stand on the left because I'm right handed and this lets me use my stronger right arm to "operate" the stand.

Finally, move the rear stand into position and push it to the floor.

The first time or two, you'll be nervous. It's pretty simple really.

You could have a friend stand beside the bike while you try it once or twice. Don't let him/her help you, just have them for that "just in case" factor.

No problem man ;) Just keep practicing with it. Like TX said, just have someone there as an just in

case at first. But you will get more comfortable with it.

Another critical tip - leave the kickstand down when the bike is on the stand.

I've read quite a few stories of people forgetting to put the kickstand back down before they take it off the stand. I just leave mine down all the time so I don't have to worry about it.

This is how i do it.

If you need practice, do it with the track bike and not the street bike.

+1 on leaving the kickstand down the whole time its on the stand...seen peoples bikes fall over after bringing it down from the stand and forget that the kickstand is not down...:mad2:
