Yep indeed, good things happen to those that wait...
So a few days back I was kinda upset about walking away from a deal for $500, and i got alot of **** from some members on this board for that.
I was kinda bummed and started looking at other bikes like the R1 50th Ann., and out of no where another Repsol popped up on Craigslist locally in Houston.
Long story short - I went over, made a trade and basically purchased a Mint condition 2007 Honda Repsol 1000r, No.845.
For waiting I actaully got a sweeter deal! I got an Arata exhaust (slip on), frame sliders, fender kit, luggage rack all with the deal! It was almost too good to be true, I was in and out of the dude's place in an hour and was back in 2 hours to pick the bike up! Went super smooth! :D
Thanks to those that were patient with me and tried helping me out! Thanks for the help guys!

Glad you finally made up your mind. Hope you learn some stuff about your new bike here.
About this sticker removal.... Are you talkin about the sponsor decals or the Nicky decal on the tank?
Either way   :confused2:

Wow, people would kill to have those "F`ing Nicky Hayden stickers." It's what made the '07 model different than he '05. Maybe you should have bought some regular old 1000RR and then fixed it up like a Rossi replica. Man, removing the Hayden stickers is blasphemy!

Well If i got a regular CBR1000rr, then I would have to paint it Repsol first and then give some Rossi touches.
Which would probably piss alot of you guys since you don't like Fakesols right
So i just bought a Repsol (orignal), a little mods and some Rossi stickers and that lil sucker shall look noice!
Thank You all that helped me make this decision and provided excellent information.

You took the words out of my mouth. Thats what I would have done. That way you wouldn't ruin the Nicky sticker.

Im looking forward to how the Rossi stickers etc make it look. To each his own but I love my 07 NICKY HAYDEN edition looks. Where does the Rossi stuff come from? Very curious. Have fun the bike is freakin awsome. I like it more every day.:D

To me I did'nt care if it was an 05 or an 07. Which ever one popped up first for the price i had in mind, i'd buy. $7000 for the 2005, and $9000 for the 2007.
The 2007 popped up, i bought it. I was'nt set on 2007, I test rode both of them and think for the track they both could use better suspension but for street riding both rode fine.
Once i get her on the track a couple times, i'm sure i'll probably end up putting Ohlins in the front and back.
Its a pretty sweet bike though.
One thing I must admit - the orange looks a heck lot better everytime i look at it :p

Id rather see a fakesol than wasted decals that are no longer in production/limited to each bike.
What are these Rossi decals you keep talking about?? Does he have different sponsors or do you just
like causing $hit here?? :confused2:

I guess you have'nt been riding long enough to know that the Rossi decals differ from the Hayden decals. Rossi decals are the Star, the moon, the Sun, the dawg ;), the turtle etc etc. Since your a Hayden fan i'm sure i don't need to tell you which decals belong to Hayden .
There are many stickers that are on all Honda backed bikes in the MotoGP. A good example is the "Gas Gas" sticker.
As far as your comment of starting **** - Start $hit? With who - you? I thought we were cool? Guess not. You wanna start $hit? Feel free to do so thorugh PMs, but please don't start them in my threads.
Now back on topic - you wanna see some cool decals : http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=Rossi+stickers&category0=

 You couldn't pay me to put Rossi decals on my Repsol! That's like putting Yamaha stickers on it.
Anyhow, if your set on that spicy meatball then Auctmart has two Rossi repsol kits available for the '07 and i'm sure you would be stoked with the flourescent green version (discusting). Buy that set and put the Hayden stuff up for sale!
