Well, my cousin and I finally installed the FIAT fairings on his formerly 2007 CANDY RED R1.

mods as of right now are:
YAMAHA FIAT fairings #222 (OUT OF 380 in the world)
RIZOMA (limit sport mirrors, grips, bar ends, FE)
CARROZZERIA (anodized gold wheels)
R&G (frame sliders: upper & lower, fork sliders, cotton reels)
STOMP GRIPS
GOLD CHAIN
CRG (black with red adjusters) shorty levers
TERMIGNONI exhaust & Y-pipe
CA integrated taillight

mods we are waiting to install:
HIDs (6000k white for lights, 4500k yellow for highs)
EURO left switch with flash-2-pass and hazards
rearsets
different windscreen

the retail for the whole fairing kit with replacement gastank is $2600.

but people are asking $3500 on ebay for them!!!!! :eek:

1) i replaced my windscreen with a MAGICAL RACING windscreen:

2) the YAMAHA FIAT replica fairings came from factory with the numbered sticker that was clearcoated on the tank.

The bike looks awesome!! I've always liked the look of the R-1. I noticed in the last pic though that the Repsol seems to be out in front of the R-1. Well, I guess that's normally how it is huh?? ;):evilgrin:
