Just a few observations from the Brisbane International Motor Show.
Yes the new Blade looks better in the flesh
No, the nose does not. One of the dealers joked it looked like they dropped the clay model on its face and didn't have time to fix it :p
The tacho looks bigger
The tail looks very slick like a MotoGP bike and the tail assembly looks easy to remove for track days
The exhaust is pretty neat, especially compared to the monstrosities from Suzuki and Kavi
My dealer has promised me a test ride but we don't get them downunder till MAY!! In the meantime I'll have a test ride of the new Kavi ZX-10 in March..
The CBR600RR will come as a Hannspree replica. (see pic) It looks pretty good but nowhere near the Repsol. :D
The new GSX-R750 is a Tom Cruise look-alike with an eagle nose (see pic).
The Kavi looks good except for the headlights which look like two eyes put too close together. And as mentioned the can is just enormous. It looks like som manufacturers made a deal with aftermarket dealers; we'll put such ugly cans on our bikes that customers won't have a choice put to get new ones.. Yeah, yeah, I know about Euro 3 or 4 but it looks like ****!
I hope this was a little informative.
