I could'nt decide if I wanted to purchase a smoked one so I decided to paint my stock one orange. I used model paint and although it's not the greatest, I like it.

That is definitely a different look. The second pic kind of feels like your looking through a pane-glass window.
Model glue eh? You still buzzin'??

Simply remove windscreen and tape it off. I used the paint pictured. You can also use window stain paint at most craft stores.

Thanks for the comment.s. It was sprayed on and no it isn't completely clear but I was going for look not function. The only time I get that low to look threw it is when I'm doing 150+. So we'll see what happens the next time I get a good straight away.

Stuff works great on Protons turn signals.

Thomas it looks really good. But as long as you are happy with it then that is all that really matters.

It is in a spray can. But if your enterested in doing this mod I would shop around and do a couple of test samples. I used some stuff when I was in Alaska that I loved for making my tailights all red but it faded after about 6 months. So we'll see how this stuff does even though it's going back in storage on friday.
