So I decided to mount my exhaust a little different. I didn't want to have the strap seen so i rivited it to the top after cutting it. I also put some dynamat under the seat area for the heat. Check out the pics.

Looks good and I like the idea with the riveting over a strap. Just wondering how the vib's will do. With the strap the load is on the bottom of the pipe where as the riveting the load is up top. Hmmmmmmmm:confused2:
All in all, I think it almost gives it a free floating look. Again, pretty cool.

I was also not sure about the rivet on top but that's why I used 3 each side. The exhaust is not too heavy so I'm sure it'll be ok.

looks good. I do like yeah 3 rivits per side should hold good.

Looks good no doubt about it.. I would be worried about the carbon letting go but!
