They look good, definately different. Really make the frame and swingarm stand out a lot more.

Good work and yes I am really jealous cause I want a set.

Hey Playa...trying to view the pics via my phone...are they silver?Did they come that way...or did you have them powdercoated?I really like the color with that frame...its unique.I would have automatically told ya to paint them orange....but those look bitchin.Leave them as is.

the rims are silver. i ordered them as a custom order, raw finish with a clear powdercoat to protect the aluminum.

I Love the wheels and i do have to say looks good with the 07 frame.

But i kinda feel you lose the repsol when you lose the wheels. Kinda like everyone was making a huge deal about that dealership selling fake repsols only due to the wheels were still black. Thats my thoughts.

LOOKS SWEET DON"T GET ME WRONG!!!

I wanted to check into having the lips of the original rims chromed and leave the centers orange. Ive seen it done on some others and thought it looked good. I also think an orange "colored" chrome rim would look sweet. ??

And J...is that your M5 in the background?? Looks good....from what I can see...what year is it??

jquick - you win the "radical rich award" for creating a second thread to talk about the exact same topic you started a thread for within the last few days... :D

The wheels look amazing, but I don't like the color combination on the Repsol. But it's your bike, rock on!

Take a look at the pictures in this thread (http://www.repsolforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=996&referrerid=138).

Squidracer chromed the lip of his F3 wheels and it looked amazing. It looked good because the chrome theme was carried out on the whole bike.

Another friend of mine chromed the lip of the black wheels on his 600RR (solid black 600RR, 2003 model) and it couldn't look worse. It's the only thing chrome on the bike and just looks out of place. I dare say it looks like "trailer trash".

So be careful - what works on one color scheme may look completely different on another.
