nicky mod???

has anyone cut out a portion of their front sprocket cover so called the "nicky mod" i know there is no performance just all cosmetics but just asking if anyone has done it?

Unless you change your front sprocket a lot its pretty much a waste of time. Heard a lot of people say

it makes the chain sound louder and can get annoying also.

huh i havn't heard that. but i am pretty sure even if you have to change your front sproket you would have to take this off.

that looks pretty good.....one thought though, for those of us who ride on the street very often. we would need to keep that chain very clean, not only that, but it would collect so much debris, if i remember correctly, some one from the forum had their chain trashed the whole front cover, ending up about some mucha mula to repair the damages. but yes that looks very clean and very nice.

I have a Nicky modded sprocket cover that I never installed. It's from an '05 but may fit the '07. If anyone is interested let me know.

My bike is Nikky modded... Actually my last three bikes, Ive Nikky modded. I think it looks sweet.
