big ride! Vegas, to Reno, then to redding, then down to San diego

Im plotting a bike trip from vegas to Reno, then on to redding, ca to pick up another rider. He's going to Iraq so we are going big, white water rafting a class 5! Then jumping on the bikes and heading down the coast to San diego. Any reccommendations?

Hit the Malibu canyons on your way down through LA. Stay coastal coming down from Redding because PCH is awesome around Big Sur.

In San Diego, hit Palomar Mountain and then end up at the roller coaster by Mission Beach for some cools suds, cool beach and bitchin babes in bikini's walking by.
