I thought the home town boy would take it. Nothin' like home cookin'.....I have lots of family in Barcelona and they love Dani...I just can't get myself to cheer for the guy.

I am VERY happy to see Dani winning because in the end I really want to see Team Repsol on top. But... Nicky's not even a factor and that just plain sucks.
One more time he qualified well (front row this time) and yet again kept falling back as the race went on to find himself in 8th. Same thing I said in the Italy thread. He continues to qualify well and generally starts good (which shows he CAN ride this bike), but he can't keep it up through any of the races. :(

Just finished reading the article about Nicky testing the new pnuematic engine and he seems to like it better then the present configuration.
Chassy is different, higher top speed, and more power out of the corners. So, hopefully it will work better for our boy and he can finish the season on a high note.
Which would be nice considering this is the last year of his contract with Team Repsol.

Nice job to MM & SIXDOG for calling that one. I don't see Nicky with Repsol next year unless big things happen, certainly not if danni p wins the title.

As long as he keeps that Repsol in front who cares about his personality...just wish Nicky can sustain the same pace he shows during qualifying.

Doooooooohhhhhhhh ever stopped to think it could be a tire issue. they don't qualify on race tires.

Where you been? I very specifically discussed the whole tire issue before.
