Hi, so i am trying to figure out where does the exup valve cables attach to but i cannot find it... One end goes to the stock Exhaust and the other end-----??? I cannot find where to connect it... i know it goes into the servo motor, but i cannot find the servo motor.. I bought this repsol with with the stupid hotbodies undertail shyte...and i have never paid attention to where the cables connect on my other repsol... And it sucks that my other one is in my other garage.. I also tried to find this in the service manual but i cannot locate it.. Sorry for the stupid question.

Are you trying to hook the cables back up? I would just throw them in the garbage as they

add nothing to the bike.

If your refering to the 07....not sure how the 05 differs if at all.......the servo is located under the plastic housing where the key hole lock to open your rear seat compartment is. To remove....from memory......remove the seat.....remove passanger seat......remove tail section! There us a 10mm nut accessed from the top.....and a plastic philips head fixing on the LHS of the frame similar to the ones you find attaching your fairings together. Remove them both and the plastic housing will slip down and off with the rear seat key hole lock......keep in mind the cable is still attached to where your rear seat locks down so the housing wont go too far.....then your servo is exposed!! Took me while to figure out how to get to the servo.....I found most of the manuals and sites unhelpful regarding this....just need to get in there and have a crack!

Hope this helps!! :D

Right, so yesterday i went ahead and tried to connect the cables to the motor...And i must say honda thinks that we are all japanese with small hands....man how the hell do you connect those stupid cables.....Anyway, i decided that it is not worth it as the exup valve does nothing...And it was the same in my R6...the damn valve does nothing...Although it was so much easier to reach on the R6....

Well it does do SOMETHING.....holds compression down low but you get more benifit removing it........its only there to pass the factory tests! Remove the cables if you havn't already!!

BTW......you you need to be a Japanese midgit to do any work on the bike......lost count the number of times I swore when I was installing my PCIII......trying to disconnect and reconnect those stupid inject plugs.......aaaahhhhhhhhhhh
