Or do you think this one would be better....it was not in the store, but can be bought online.

Ok....I went today and grabbed the second one for 59.99.
Here are a few pics.
I went together easy in like 5 steps....although it was kind hard to load and unload.
Damn thing wanted to slide around....Im working on something to keep her in place.
Gonna check out Baxley and see how theirs are set up.

I personally thought about buying the first one, but not sure I would trust it. If someone you know that has one and has used it, maybe it is good? I was going to buy one of the st stands, but showed it to a friend and he built me one for a $100..st wants like $250. No tie downs or anything needed. Find a welder and have to build you one!

WOW.....only one person had any thoughts on a wheel chock.
Thanks sschrader for your input....I like your set up, but I was looking for something more portable.

Been thinking about getting one for my truck but I dont haul the bike in it enough to need one.
Would get one if I was going on a long road trip or something. And in that case I would get something
simmilar to sschraders setup. That looks like a solid way to transport the bike. Never feel
comfortable with just tie downs holding the clipons and rear down.

Those are dirt cheap. I have wanted something like this but wasn't willing to pay $250 for it. The first one is nice and small but the second looks more secure. What to do????:confused2:

Friend of mine had that Baxley Wheel Chock, on his trailer when we did a track day at T-Hill. Those things are AWESOME!

i have being away for few days....
that set up built for $100 that is very good. anything that helps you avoid any straps is good for your suspension in the long run.....and it is easy to lock it......
i like that.
anthony....how is it working out.???
yo!!! dude you wanted to borrow my body armor??...i did not see your message in time, sorry....you should have called me.....next time give me a call.

I dont like the chock....its hard to lock in and pull out.
The damn thing slides around.
I think Im going to end up getting the Baxley....dont know if I really need it...I get frickin tired of trying to line up my spools onto my stand after a ride.
Id like to just pull into the Baxley...and then slide my Pitbull under my spools....and whalla, done.
O yeah....thanks for getting back to me, sucka.
I ended up buying a Teknic protector for 35.00 @ Newenough.com.
Probably not the best out there...but its better than nothing.

Have you guys checked out this one?
http://www.pit-bull.com/trailer-restraint.shtml
I saw it at Laguna and it was rock solid. A single person can lock a bike in place and no tie downs are required. If I had a truck (or when I get a truck or van) for the bike, this is what I would (or will) use.

Looks like a cool idea, but it also looks like you would need a different adapter for various types of motorcycles, which could be a major show stopper for me. I tend to haul lots of different models of bikes on my trailer... whatever restraint system I use must be quite adaptable...

Just call them and see. You'll save tons of time if its a simple adapter change.

I have the Baxley & its the best one around. Hey, you get what you pay for. If you go cheap, you'll have a cheap stand. For such a nice bike, 250.00 is peanuts......:confused2:
