commuting.....tires????? your opinions!!!

i have being riding my suzuki to commute to work. i have metzlers M1 on my suzuki....i have spent about $20 dollars in Gas per week and i would like to continue riding my bike to work.

i dont really want High performance tires on my bike to commute to work. what is the most reasonable tire that will give me some good mileage with out spending a fortune on tires.

any one????

Id say any decent harder compound tire. Will sacrafice performance but will get longer wear.

Not really. Ive only rode on Dunlops and Bridgestones. The Dunlops on my F4i were still on it when

I traded it for the Repsol with 6000 miles on them and they were still at decent tread in

the center. Have 3200 on the stock Bridgestones and they have a nice flat spot in the center from

these awesome IL roads :rolleyes: Cant wait to get my 2cts on, Im sure they wont last as long

but I know theyll stick better than the stones.
