HRC quick throttle kit...

I know there are 2 versions of this....the basic one, I provided an eBay link too.
And the full kit, which comes with the cables.

Is anybody using this basic version? If so, have you run into ANY issues?

I was told you have to have the cable and all for it to work.

I would just buy the complete kit and be safe. there was something about the bigger diamiter of the casing and the way it all fit together!

DISCLAIMER: I'm repeating what I've read. I haven't done this mod yet.

From what I've read Brad from the "other site", it may work but you run the risk of a throttle sticking if you do not do the cables. From a safety standpoint, the popular logic is go ahead and do the cables. It's a PITA, but you'll have peace of mind.

Even though I love to save $$, when I do this mod (which is next on the list after chain adjusters), I'll be doing the cables.
