We have it in SA also, its even better in real life.
I had the pleasure of seeing one on friday at my dealer, even my wife mentioned it was the best she had seen.:confused2::confused2: (my wife dont like bikes).

Well, I like the paint and decals combo in this bike, however everybody have their own personal taste. I do see where you are coming from. One bike that in my opinion went from beauty to beast is the R1. The 09 is pretty ugly to me, but the 08 was almost as pretty as the CBR's. I was told that the new R1 engine will destroy any bike from the competition. I can't even use 1% of the power available in the CBR1000RR therefore it doesn't matter to me.

It is because europeans are open minded to different colors. Here in US, they downplay us with black white and metallic colors, because they are neutral colors, meaning the average customer will not be freaked out by it. Also, the resale value would be higher...

Europeans get all the good colors and all the best twisties-at least in spain, italy and france.

Don't think they're available in Australia, I'd definitely like to see one up close to get a better impression, but it definitely looks pretty nice. :)

All depends on which magazine you are reading about it.

Every single one, except Sport Rider, puts the Honda CBR1000RR at the top of the list, even after the second year. That includes going up against the newly revamped GSX-R1000 and R1. Sport Rider listed the ZX-10 ahead of the CBR, but it was marginal, and only because of the brakes and forks (which isn't the same on the Repsol as the normal CBR).
