Power Commander and cooling fan

I have a question for anybody that has put a Power Commander on there bike. The fan now comes on when the engine is below operating temperature if you hold it at about 2500 rpm, I don't remember this happening before the commander. Is this normal? I had one on my 954 and it had to get hot before it came on.

I have the PCIII on my '05, haven't installed the '07 yet, and I have never had a fan issue. Maybe someone else........have any insight on this ???? I have never heard anything about that issue either :(

I had an 04 1000rr with the PC III and had no problems with the fan either.....sorry man, wish I could help.....

Well thanks for the reply's. If worse comes to worse I will take it to the dealer and let them figure it out.
