View Full Version : Hayden Commemorative Sticker Kit INSTALLED!

Well boys, I received my sticker kit from HRCA this weekend. I attached a few pics of the sticker kit and then it installed on the Repsol. Sticker kit is nice, but not as high quality as the one that came with the Repsol. Check out the sticker with Hayden's signature, not a very good color match with the orange on the tank. Oh well.......

Debated on whether to install the #1 sticker on the front. I saw the earlier pics of it installed on HRCAs bike at Daytona and didn't care for it. I held it up and it looks way better in person than in the pics.

For those who have not received theirs yet, I bought my bike about two and a half weeks ago and got the kit yesterday. Funny, I got the kit the same day that I received my first bill from Honda Finance.

I financied it through Honda Finance, so it may have gone through the system faster. Both the sticker kit and my first bill arrived the same day, 16 days after buying the bike. I have yet to receive my HRCA membership info, which was mentioned in the letter I received with the sticker kit. A lot may depend on your dealer and them getting all the info to Honda in a timely manner.

I hate to say it but I'm a Valentino Rossi Fan, Sorry but its true. I think Nicky (jinkezd) cursed himself when he took his fathers number off and put that number 1 on. Why all those years that Valentino was king did he keep #46 because its bad luck to change your number just like changing the name of a ship or boat. Now that I see the stickers I'm conflicted, i think I'm gonna put the Doctor on my bike. Hell i'm not even Italian. American first then English German Irish, probably got some italian blood somewhere from when the romans ruled. I better tell the head shrinker about this:eek:

Hayden is not doing well to start off to be sure. But, last year when they announced the new 800cc limits they said it would favor riders like Dani Pedrosa due to his size. Hayden looks "big" on the new bikes which are visibly smaller than last years 1000s. His size is whats hurting him this year.

I didnt realize he was that much bigger than the other riders. I didnt make sense that Pedrosa was so far up when they should be riding about the same bike. I got nothing against Hayden I just like Rossis character, and for sure hes got talent. This is the first time in my life I wish I was 5-8 and 160. 6-2 and 210 is good but not for the bikes:D

Anyone know where I can get another one?Is that sticker part of the Repsol kit? If it is, you'll probably have to buy the whole kit again, otherwise you should be able to order that sticker straight from Honda or on-line via http://www.zanottimotor.com.

So, is anyone interested in sending their commemorative sticker kit to the guy who made the full '07 kit, #1 and "Numbers Don't Lie" sticker guy so he can reproduce them? He'll send back your set and probably an extra one as a thank you!

Oh.. Duh... He has duplicated the 07' kit and may be able to sell you just the Repsol if needed. :)

I need to email him and let him know i got them in. What sucks is that the stickers are on one single sheet and not individual like the full sponsor decal kit. Not sure if that will make it harder to duplicate.

I emailed the guy from Ebay. That decal was part of the repsol kit. I don't think I can order just that from Honda. As long as the stick is close i'm OK with that.

I bought the whole 07 replacement decal kit from my dealer, but they said i could order individual stickers as long as i provided my VIN. May be worth checking out with your dealer.

I am sure Kahuna would take those Hayden stickers off your hands! Honestly, I wouldn't of bought the Repsol if Rossi still rode for Honda and it was his replica. I have been a Hayden fan for a long time and he seems to have always been second in line on the Repsol Team, even to Pedrosa.

Rossi is the best, but Hayden did what many thought was the impossible.

Cool!

KeVsDesiRE, did you try calling Honda with that part number? They may sell that sticker alone. I just bought a replacement sticker for my '98, and it looked like they just cut it out of a larger sheet. Maybe that can do the same for you, I mean it has its own part number. :)

Do you have the part number for the Michelin man sticker? That is the only one I'm not happy with. I ended up with a wrinkle on it since the fender is so contoured.

One of mine went on perfect with a little work. The other side has a small wrinkle, not bad, but I know it is there. Too many damn contures on the fender where it goes.
