Thanks for all suggestions from everyone here. Best slip-on Exhaust comments? I am thinking jardine, they have a dual outlet carbon fiber that looks sweet, and retains the dual look like the stock can. I am going to attempt this with a hot-bodies undertail. Yes I have taken the advice from you guys and will be modifying my repsol to suite my taste. Now I jst need those carrozeria wheels back in stock so I can add those as well!!!!! :D

Good deals on the pignose are getting hard to find because they have become so popular. I saw one guy on ebay trying to sell one for more than the retail price from Jardine.

Searched far and wide for a good deal but the best I found and in stock was from starcycles for $519. Brad at superbikesupply.com had it for $492 shipped but he didn't have any in stock when I checked. I just heard a couple of days ago he had one in stock.

For those looking for the Jardine Dual Outlet, this guy has 4 on ebay at a great price. Description says "carbon body, carbon cap". Not affiliated with the seller and have never purchased from him, just saw it and know other members are looking for them at a great price.

Ok heres the deal these are the old style with rivets, if you want to change out the packing get a Drill. Plus the brackets a little different. In a month or two (or 2-4 weeks) the new Jardines will be coming out with allen heads so you can change the packing which should last about 6k miles. If we want to do a group buy we need to call Megan at Pipe city with a firm number and she will call Jardine and see if she can get a discount. I will PM BK with secret details

Hate to knock this exhaust system but I finally got mine last friday and I am having a real hard time getting some separation between the exhaust and rear brake reservioir screw and heat shield. I even tried bending the heat shield out of the way. I called Jardine and was told that that is the way it was designed, I personally think this is poor engineering on there part because it will eventually damage the pipe and cause noise. If I had it all to do again I would not purchase the system again I would pay the extra $100 to $150 for the Akra EVO. I also purchased the Jardine FE and that does not even fit properly with this exhaust system. The bottom of the exhaust rubs on the FE, I've had nothing but problems from Jardine.

I got mine to fit without any problems. Very happy with the pipe. And for those wanting to wait for the allen head style bolts over the rivets, get the old style and buy a rivet gun for $20.

Thrasher, do you have an 07 or 05? The pipe does not rest up against the rear brake reservoir screw or bracket?

I put one my '07 and had no fitment problems at all. The FE had some clearance issues, I just put my bike on the Pit Bull and lifted up on the FE, where the license plate mounts. This procedure bent the plate mount up slightly and increased the clearance.

07 and yes its close but not touching, I think there's enough air flow to keep it cool, remember brake fluid is designed to work at high temp and in any case its the rear brake which is next to useless on this bike:mad:

If you are having problems with the installation for the dual pipe....i wonder if you need to cut the shield in order to make it fit.

i purchased the slip on for my bike....the instructions show cutting the shield in order to make the pipe fit perfectly.....it took me about two hours and fitted right on. im wondering if the dual pipe is diferent than the slip on rt-1??

You do NOT need to cut anything. Remember, don't tighten anything down all the way until everything is aligned correctly. My heat shield is barely touching the lower, but it doesn't get any where near hot enough to melt the lower. I was thinking of just getting a carbon heat shield for it and be done with it.

then i guess the dual pipe is diferent than the rt-1 slip on.
