Does anyone have any input on a nice looking tanking bag for the beautiful 07 repsol ? Also how do they attach being that the tank is not metal ? Will they mess up the paint ? Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.

A buddy of mine told me his tank bag that he had on his 01 929RR came with magnets or metal tags that could be attached to the underside of the tank so it will magnetically attach. I personally don't have one, but he is trying to sell me his since he doesn't have his 929RR anymore (getting a new Harley).

I use the strap-on tank bag - see pix at link: http://www.repsolforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55

I tried a buddy's strap on (hehehe, he said "strap on") tank bag, but it was too bulky and I didn't like the way it mounted to the bike. I had to run the front straps down around the triples and the bottom strap down under the seat. It made the front of the seat want to lift and the strap scratched up the tank.
I was so pleased to find that there was an alternative for those metal tank challenged bikes.

It's a bit small, but fits nicely on the tank, never touching the plastics. I was able to get enough in for a long overnight trip. Being that the bag is small, it didn't interfere with the more spirited roads. They also make an extension pack for the tank bag as well as some sweet tail bags for the rear seat.

The super-mini bag from Cortech works really well. It is a strap bag. I used it on my 600RR with no problems.
