2007 Flush Mount Front Signals

I just installed the Lockhart Phillips flush mount front signals, part number 122-6017.

For the most part, I'm very pleased. Install was painfully simple. Simply remove the middle fairing, take one bolt loose from the stock blinker, clean adhesion surfaces with rubbing alcohol, and insert blinkers into the fairing hole with provided double-stick tape.

My one and only complaint is that one of the LED plates inside the blinker came loose during the install. It still works, but the bulbs are sort of floating around inside. I don't see any real issue with it so I went ahead and installed it.

Here are before and after shots for those interested. I'll try and get some better "after" shots - it was dark when I took these. Still good enough for a comparison though.

Not really - the picture I attached in the original thread is straight on. You could somewhat assume that someone in front of you in real-world situations would be in front of and a little to the side if they were sitting in a driveway or side street.

I'm not real concerned about the people in front of me knowing that I'm turning - it's the people behind me I worry about.

Man the way some people drive, I like to be seen from all directions. They do look good though. :)

UPDATE - the blinker that came loose during the install quit working. It should still be under warranty...

Nice man....I actually just installed the same ones but in black. Yeah they prolly wont be seen from the front too well but I think they look the best...nice and flush! I'll post pics soon, promise:D

Thats why i went Watsen Flushmounts , they were the only ones I found that you could actually see from the front , well done though all the same it sure cleans the bike up !

Did you have problems with the flash rate of the signal lights after installing them?

I've had those same flashers on my 07 Repsol and 05 1000RR (not Repsol) and didn't have any failures or problems.

The rate of blinking will be faster regardless of LEDs or stock (OEM) signals in the back.
