Arkansas has some great roads. Just about anything north of Hwy 40. Highways 7, 16, 23, 21, 123, etc. all great roads. CAN'T WAIT!!! We are going in May!!! We go about every two years and get in about 800 or so miles in two days of riding.

Best part - the roads are in excellent condition... no potholes like here in the Dallas area. Just have to watch out for those dirt road intersections in the middle of a corner.
Second best part - cops are few and far between (not that we break any laws or anything! :D ).

YES!!!! The roads are perfect, great traction. Though once we were on 123 and came around the corner and one lane was missing. It had slid off the side of the mountain:eek: . Luckily thay had signs up warning you. I would not want to be the first person to find that.

90% of the roads shown on this map are fun. Squidracer listed a few in his first post - you can tell just by looking at the lines... it's almost impossible to find a straightaway longer than 1/4 mile!
We stay in Jasper - but there are many, many areas with small cabins for rent. We've tried the hotel thing - royal PITA. Rented a house one year - that was perfect, but the landlord is no longer renting the house. The next best thing is cabins... great scenery in the evenings and when you're ready to ride, pull out of the driveway onto the roads you're there to ride. Staying in a hotel puts you too far from all the good roads...

Have a place in Fairfield Bay, if anyone knows the area. By far, some of the funnest roads anywhere. Just look for the ones without the red dirt. Those can be tricky at 155.

We're back!
All in all, it was a great weekend. The weather cooperated moreso than I expected - the forecast called for rain all three days, but we only saw rain one morning and were able to just wait it out.
I'll work on a trip report to post some pictures...
