Well i priced out the mini camera (has night vision) for facing backwards (so i can see traffic without turning head) and the monitor up front. It comes out to 700 bucks installed. is this too much or should i attemp to do it myself. Are there any batery issues i should worry bout?

Well the moniter is a 3 1/2 inch and is for cars and can be detached and placed in ur pocket when you leave your bike.
The mini cam i dont know what tha brand is since the guy only showed me at the place and it only said mini camera on it.

I have a regular camera on my license plate of my '99 CBR. It works great after sunset. When you get light directly in the lens it blurrs out. So I cant imagine that a night vision is going to be better with cars behind you.
But it is cool when your flying down the highway over 100mph and all you have to do is look down to see who is behind you.

Night vision wouldnt be very useful. Headlights will make the display go almost totally white and you wouldnt see anything. Standard vision would be fine.

This is how I have it mounted on the H bar. The camera is installed right above the stock rear license plate. Works great. I plug in a camcorder in my trunk and record road racing with the friends. comes out clear...

i will take a pic of my camera lense. I dont see how you would mount it on your Repsol. They have cameras that clip on the rear pegs of the bike. That would be your best bet.

Just get a helmet cam and mount it backwards... :D
