2007 Repsol arrival date?

Hi All.....I was just wondering if anyone has received their 2007 repsol. My dealer said mine should be here mid January, but i was wondering if you guys are hearing the same thing or an even later date?

I was in the dealership today, and mine should be here on February 10th. The dealer is only getting 4 repsol. I kicked myself for not buying a repsol two years ago, so when I heard about the 07' edition, I was first on the list. I am excited, coz like the look of the polished frame better.

I tried to purchase the KBC repsol helmet, but they dont have one that fits my head. Apparently, they only make two shell sizes. The medium is too small...my face is up against the face gaurd. Then I exchanged it for the large, and it was way too big. Looks like I will be wearing my Shoe until someone comes out will something to match.

I think you can get replacement cheek pads to better fit your head. Wait a minute, where in the heck did you find Repsol helmets to try on?

Extreme Supply on the web had a few repsol helmets. The helmet is awesome looking in person. Check em out. They're on the web. Last week they had only a few helmets in each size still left. I will hold out and hope someone will have an 07' repsol helmet. Most manufactures haven't annouced their 07' catalogs yet.

Yeah, I already have one. :D I like the look and fit, but can't seem to find a much needed dark smoke face shield for it. They've been on back order for at least six months now. :(

You know what I don't care for on the new 07 is the color of the frame or at least that's what I think it's called right! The silver (shinny part)when it used to be black.

The funny thing is, the '07 with its silver frame is just like the RC211v that its modeled after. The black frame of the '05 doesn't match the MotoGP machine. That being said, I to prefer the black frame. :)

Yea it's a big struggle for me because when I get back to Cali I'm going to buy an 07 1000rr but I'm torn between the color scheme that I want. By the way would you be willing to refer some places where I could get a great deal. I'm comming home in June and I have cash!

Hhhmm. I called the Vegas dealership, and they couldn't confirm. The dealership is expecting 4 repsols. The manager said he will check the computer everyday and call me when its shipped.:)

I checked with 4 dealers in Florida and one in Texas and they said they show theirs as shipped and expected them in store by weeks end. I am going to call my dealer tomorrow (closed today) and see what they have to say.

they only made em in 05 and 07, you can find some basically new 05s like mine with only 500 or so miles on them if you keep a watchful eye on the net. i just saw one on ebay that had 600 miles on it a few weeks ago

When I was shopping for a used '05 Repsol back in August of last year, they were going for over $12,000 in California. Sure, there were many listed at $9,500 and such, but I found that when I made the call, the price had gone up to over $12,000.

I had the first guy locked in on a price and then the night before I was to pick it up he told me he was going to sell it to a guy locally for $1,500 more. I'm not sure he made the sale, because I still see it listed in his bio on another board.

The second deal went through just fine although he raised the price on me the day before I was to pick it up. At least this guy had the pink slip in hand and the price was way below what everybody else was asking.

My dealer is giving me the Repsol/Hayden banner as well. I saw one on ebay, so they do not come with the actual bike. I live in the land of frozen tundra, and my dealer is delivering my bike 2.5 hours to me for free.:D

When they ordered the bike in November, Honda told my dealer that they would have it on February 15th. I heard a rumor that they may be here sooner on another forum, so I called the dealer, and they are still confirming February 15th for mine.

Have you heard anything new? I heard some bad news this morning. My dealer is saying the end of March now. Not sure what changed and they don't have many details. I hate this. If I didn't want the Repsol so bad, I would just go down and get a new 07 in another color and be done with it.

I spoke with my dealer last week and he told me it woud be March 11th, but he said he spoke with his Honda rep and the bikes should ship much sooner. It really sucks that the dealers information is so spotty. I know that the bike has already been delivered to some dealers in south east Texas, so i do not know what the freakin hold up is.

Bad news from my dealer, they pushed the ship dates back to the first part of March. I was originally suppose to get it a week from tomorrow, February 15th.

I also wonder if Honda is not shipping them yet, especially to the smaller dealers in the Midwest, because they want to ship these same dealers their new 600RRs as the same time. I know the new 600RR hits dealers in March, same time as my Repsol.

The wharehouse is in Seattle and I should have my bike Friday mornin. Sucks I have to work though all day. So I should be pickin up my 07 Repsol Satuday morning. Crossing my fingers. I should have my VIN tomm morning. Good luck to the rest of ya getting your bikes. I just hope my dealer is right this time....

I spoke with a dealer in louisiana today that recieved their 07 repsol (today) and here is what i was told. Honda accidently released the repsols to dealerships on the East and West Coast. Other dealers found out and threw a fit because they did not recieve theirs. So honda released one repsol per dealer (to dealers that are supposed to get one) now and are going to ship the rest in Macrh on the normal ship date.

I have no idea if this is true or not, but that is what the dealer told me.

Is it really a Honda problem, or more of a transportation problem. I know a lot of Cali boys have already received their bikes, but they are much closer to the coast. :)

Back then I wanted one so bad but knew I just couldn't get one yet. When the opportunity arose to purchase my dream bike, I couldn't hardly wait. After getting shafted on what I thought was a done deal on the first Repsol, I didn't let up and a few days later I was riding my new baby home.

All that time spent waiting and hoping for a new Repsol was all wash away on the ride home. Good things come to those who wait, and then, the wait doesn't really matter any longer. :)

I don't get why some dealers get them and others have to wait. My dealer ordered mine at noon on the first day they were taking orders, according to the press release that Honda sent to dealers.

My dealer is probably the second largest, if not largest, dealer in Iowa. Honda should have built all of them, threw them on a ship, and then distributed them to the dealers all at once.

I guess the next two weeks will tell the tale if what Honda has told my dealer is true or if they push it back again. I know I sound like a baby, but I live in Iowa, and our riding season runs short anyway. I ride when it is 40 degrees in the Spring, all Summer, then freeze my ass off in the Fall in order to extend the riding season. It was 58 degrees here yesterday and I could have been riding.

And have taken care of most of California with the emmision stuff. I have no idea how the one dealer in utah is getting one tomm. But I will take it. I just want to make sure it is not a dealer trade and that the bike is from a warehouse without the california stuff on it. I am really crossing my fingers on this one....Just thought I would pass the info along as I get it.

And I am with you. We have a short season here. I usually ride from March to the first of November and usually freeze my ass off...:eek:

The starting in the east and moving west is bull.....I'm in NC and was told originally Feb. 2. Now I'm at a March 9th release, from the warehouse, and hopefully get my scoot by the 15th or so, at the same time I'm seeing dealers on Ebay and such that they have multiples of them in Ga. Tn. Tx. and so on, leaves one to wonder what the hell is going on.

Ultimately, I already have one, my '05, so it's not that big of a deal but I feel for all of the peeps waiting on it. I went NUTS trying to find my '05 so I feel your pains. I was like a 5 year old waiting to ride it home for the first time.:(

I wish i knew the correct answer. I know in 06 the 600 were different (according to my dealer) because i had to order a set of lower fairings for my 600 and they accidently recieved the cali version and had to re-order. You can check with your dealer and see if the 06 1000 was the same way. The 06-07 models did not change. Hope that helps.

The bike in Utah showed up late last night and the dealer called my cell to give me the vin and being the moron I am I left my cell at home. So I guess I will call him tomm. morning and run the vin and if everything checks out I will go pick it up next Saturday.....:D

thanks guys... I will post some pics when I get home sat night or sunday morning... The wait is finally over and I can get some sleep at night... The dealership in Utah is a honda Power dealer class 4. That is why they got a bike before anyone else in the area. Atleast that is what they told me and the bike is a non cali version.....:D :D :D :D :D

Supposedly the Honda only dealers are getting their bikes first. Mine was originally ordered from a multi line dealer the first day they were available with money down. I had the Feb 2 ship date from the dealer. That came and went and my dealer had no good information until this monday. Honda basically told my sales manager that since he wasnt a Honda only shop my bike and others were bumped until at least Apr 9th. I got lucky tho because my dealer gave me this news and told me that 2 just arrived in the state and where they were and who to talk to. 2 hours later I was on my new bike. Good luck guys I think there may be one available at Coyote Honda in AZ.

Mine is a Honda only dealer and they are saying 2nd week of March (originally February 14th). I hope you are right because my pipe is suppose to be here tomorrow and my dealer is holding all the gear I ordered until they deliver my bike to me.

Last Fall I was on a mission to find a new 2004 Hayden RC51. Found one in North Carolina for $9000, but bike got sold a couple weeks earlier (old cycletrader ad).

I anticipate that my bike will be here within two weeks. My dealer is expecting their new 600RRs and I would imagine my Repsol will be on that truck. I just need to have a beer (or six) and relax. Thank god for BEER!

Yes I did! Like I said earlier, got it for $377 shipped for the Titanium/Carbon dual outlet. According to my tracking number, it is suppose to be at my house tomorrow; however, we are in the midst of a severe blizzard here in Iowa in which they have shutdown the interstates.

I am excited about the pipe, I have ran stock exhausts for the past couple bikes due to my inability to hold onto a bike for more than 1 year (my dealer usually lets me trade/upgrade for around $400). I have owned a brand new bike every year since 2000, with the exception of last year when I spent all my money finishing my basement.
