These are a couple of pics of SBK HRC engine cases. I will start putting this motor together in the next couple of days, depending when the crank and rods get here. Shooting for 200+hp. We'll see what happens.

Are you planning on racing the bike or is it for street use. Does a 200hp motor hold up very well under street riding? Longevity?

If the numbers I've heard are true, that's really only 30 more horsepower than stock.
I don't mean that from an "it won't make much difference" standpoint, but from an "I don't think it's wicked enough to have to worry about longevity" standpoint.
I'm jealous, BTW.

200+ horsepower?!?! Are you insane? That is absolutely ridiculous and completely gear-headed!!
So....how much was it? I want one!!!!!:D

The bike will be used for both street and track days, might do a race or two also. Longevity would be a concern if it was being used as a full SBK motor, as the service intervals are really short for that type of racing. As long as I keep an eye on the internals, there shouldn't be any problems. That's the main reason I decided to do the cases and complete motor, if something happens, I can put the 05 motor back in. Plus they came available. Price for something like this brand new is about $6200. I got them from a SBK team in Europe as a trade.
