Ok what a pain spent toooo long removing that junk but if you have questions I have answers. I ordered the Jardine Carbon/Carbon, a power commander and some BMC filters. Time for shower, Movie and bed, Answers tommorrow night after 5pm. Goodnight:)

It was worth it, removing the pair was an awful long process and the flapper was worse just because you have to drop the radiator and disembowel the air box. But it is so worth it. Took it out this mornining and the throttle response is perfectly linear. Slow to fast start from stop is perectly smooth no herky jerky if you dont do it just right and the gear changeing silky smooth like a hot knife through butter. upshifts and down shifts , I dont know why but it runs great.:D

That is good to hear, thank for the info! Went for a ride last with the sister-in-law and the wife. I hate taking off from a stop light, as soon as the bike hits 3000 RPMs, the bike surges. Do you think this will help that?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one!
I took the missus for a ride the other day and awaited that surge every time we left a light. Sure enough, there it came - I'm sure she's thinking I'm losing my touch...
Between that and the long first gear (read: lots of clutch slipping to get it off the line without bogging), this thing feels a lot different than the 929. Though still better and more refined once moving. And did I mention that this MF'er is absoultely breath-takingly gorgeous!!
I just tell myself that it's a more agressive machine, more in tune with the racing heritage! :D Then I feel all warm and fuzzy inside again.

I just slapped the Yoshi full exhaust and through in a tuned power command last night. Me and lady took both our 1000's out today for a 200 mile hike. WOW...! big difference in performance. Hit 170mph on the highway playing around with (2) Busa's....not bad for the first run of the year here in NY......

Really if your bike is like mine it will be fantastic, I'm very sensitive to the way my bike feels and although they say this dosent do much, I would say it did alot. really surge or gags. Mine seemed to choke alot on low speed take offs from lights now its just smooth as silk and the gears change better I think it might have something do do with the smog related pair air injection and I think the gaging was because of that flapper. Be advised though I took every piece out, didnt just unplug things and it was a pain especially the flapper. Good learning experience.:D
