I had debated getting a new lower fairing because of the scuff from bringing it home but i decided not to as it is so little and minor, so i went ahead and put the decals on the other side. It is very time consuming for me because i take the time to try to make them perfect. However, i seriously cannot believe the stock photo from the web of these bikes and the stickers are identical because it just isn't 100% exact. more like 95% exact. i tried every possible way and this was the closest i could get:
youll see in the one pic the new tank pad. it was really long and covered the honda wings so i cut it down, im not sure if i like it yet or not. and the gas sticker is on the tail because i hated how it looked on the nose, just personal preference i guess:confused: whaddya guys think?

Looks good 6 speed. I'd say you did a fine job with the placement. I'm real happy with my right side, I think my placement may be a bit lower than yours, but the left side is near impossible to get good placement.

Good thing you got them right....I tried to order a new set.....discontinued already:mad: . Maybe with the '07 on the horizon it will be possible, you needed the vin# to order the '05 kit though.

Yeah, I think the tank pad looks pretty good, maybe up just a little bit. I have yet to find one myself that I like as I don't want to cover up the wings on the tank either. I see that Honda is making some accessories for the 600, including a "Honda" tank pad. I hope they offer the same for the new 1000. :)

heh, this is going to sound kind of strange but i was watching that tv show house the other day and he is running a progrip style # 5000 tank pad on his repsol so i just ordered one i think itll look better in cf knockoff than black because the wings are a cf knockoff. i originally wanted to stay away from the whole knockoff thing i thought it looked kinda cheesy but then again theres really no black on the repsol besides the frame and bits here or there its mostly dark blue
