I just put in Repsol 4t Racing synthetic and it runs awesome. I can tell a huge difference from the break in oil that was in it. It shifts soo much smoother, and it feels like the bike is alive now.
PS you may get flamed for not using the search button.:evilgrin: :flamethrower::rocketlauncher:

i find it easier to answer the questions then to bash and waste my time!
not sure how much the newer 08-09 motors take but the 05 takes 3.1 L and 3.3 qt

Read your manual, it has lots of great information in it. It suggests Honda Pro GN4 10w30 or 40, depending on your climate. Any JASO-MA approved oil will work. Stay away from synthetics, they are supposed to cause clutch damage. http://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/Oils1.html This page explains alot. Alot of oils out there, but i stuck with the Honda GN4...

I have read so much info on the net on various forums and some people swear by synthetic and some say steer clear.....so what do I do..flip a coin and hope for the best?
I was hoping to hear from those with 08/09 bikes as to what they use.

Hello All. REPSOL has released a new 10w30 Full syn. The API rating is an API SM. REPSOL is the only motor bike Co. to have a level this high. Also the JASO MA2. for the wet clutch. The 2 after the MA is for added grip to prevent clutch slippage with full syn oils. No one in the industry has this powerfull combo and also just released is the (((10w50 API SM,JASO MA2))) This is the same quality of level that Mobile1 offers to Porsche BMW Mersedes,Corvette. Why should us bikers not have the same quality??? Now we do REPSOL !!!!!!!

Does anyone use RotellaT full synth? I have seen it on other forums and heard good stuff about it, and the reason i have an interest in it, is my cage is a TDi Jetta and I use the RotellaT in that....just wondering how good it would be for the bike....
