Old man? You *****! Athritis, I take pills every day. I had massive back surgery a couple of years ago because my legs were going numb. Suck it up.;)

I'm 65 and riding my Repsol and VFR800 to work every day. I also ride my '79 CBX which I have had since I bought it new in '78. What's up with this?

There's got to be more to the story.

I can relate to the back. I work in the steel industry and screwed mine up at 26. Sometimes makes it a little hard to stand up after a ride:) haven't had back surgery yet but I can definately see it coming in the future

If the guy is in too much pain to ride, don't slam him. Not everyone hass the same pain or problem conditions as the next. Better to quit riding for now at the very least. More pain or even a possible wreck because of it isn't worth it. At least he know when to hang it up. Doesn't mean it will be indefinite, but living longer is more important. Sorry for the sale of the bikes, maybe one day you will get back on the bike and ride once more. Next time though get an 07 repsol, they look better:) Just kidding on the last part.

No, hes not old relatively speaking. But arthritis can strike at ANY age and depeding on where and the severity can be incredibly painful.

Hate that it has come to this, but I am sure you did not make the decision lightly.

Whats the difference between a replica and a real one other than stickers? is it the VIN?

I totally get the pain thing, so I limit my rides to shorter distances now...my knees and butt hate anything over 200 miles, and is no trouble at 130 miles or less.

Sorry to hear about your accident with the pickup...glad you weren't on it...just realized this was an old post, but is the bike going to be in show condition for Laguna? Is it fixed and not for sale?

Basically that's the difference...but they usually have a higher performance tire...and the special VIN.

the bike is in great condition.....TOTALLY SHOW CONDITION. i will be riding it to the track. the accident happened about 3 months ago.......THE BIKES ARE NOT FOR SALE ANYMORE.

i will be saving the bikes for my daughters when they get older....they are riding 50cc dirt bikes....one of them already picked the suzuki, so they are staying in the garage.
