I have the all carbon RT-one Jardine Dual Outlet on my 07 Repsol. I am starting to get the rainbow affect along the end of my tail and on top of the back of the tail. Even above the break light has the rainbow effect. I don't get it. I am not even sure where to complain first. Jardine or Honda?? This bike only has 1200 miles on it! What do you guys think?

In case you didn't know (i didn't anyway) Use alchohol. Worked great and saved me from flipping my lid! Takes the rainbow right off.

This is a worry for me too as I have on order the same can plus a power commander and some BMC race filters. Do you have a power commander? and if so what map are you runnin?. did you remove the stock heat shield from under the tail, did you use any heat tape, whats your climate like? it cant be worse than So Cal in Summer?? sorry forgot to look at your location before I started typing:)

I have a power commander, and BMC race air filters. I did remove the stock shield from under the tail. No heat tape. Heat tape wouln't have protected the area right above the break light....well at least i don't think it would have. I am in South Texas so we avg 100's in the summer so we have a lot of heat! It's in the mid 80's now. From what i hear it is actually raw exhaust causing this issue and not heat itself. Makes sense because i could see the residue on my rag when i used the alcohol to clean it. If heat caused it, it shouldn't have come off. . Honda polish does not take this off!!!! Trust me don't waste yours! I tried a lot! I am using a custom map a friend had done on his 07 Repsol. You are more than welcome to try it if you like. Let me know and i will post it up for you.
