Led kit for my baby

I went to a bike show and bought a led kit made by varad.
Cost was $150. i seen some other ones that were $85 but you get what you pay for.even though they gave you alot more lights they couldnt do what my kit does.
my kit comes with 4 lights only but where twice as bright.
can adjust brightness.
can change flash patterns.\best thing is it comes in orange.
everyone loves my bike when i roll up now.
P.s. was very e.z. to install
all you need are the following things.
#1 6 pack of coronas
#2 tie strips
#3 some black tape
#4 the allen key for fairings.
im about to get another kit so i can have 8 lights.
i placed them in my 2 front vents under the head lights and inside the left and right fairings.
i want to add 2 in my back vents and inside my rair cowell.
and maybe somewhere on the bottom of the bike and rear tire.
nice place also would be behind the front wheel inside that lil vent at the bottom of radiator.

You never mentioned what color you got your KIT in? Those 1Watt LEDs are pretty bright.
I put ORANGE (5 LED) pods all over my Rep'07, I believe 18 PODS in all, I went more for the glow effect. The rear seat vents came out nice, even did under the swing arm to reflect off the polish rims, inside the front wheel ferrings to reflect of the polished rotors.. All remote controlled on / off, didnt go for the blinking but she looks like she is gliding at night.
I have been meaning to post picks but have been busy riding lately. Already up 500 miles in 3 weekends.

I thought about doing the led thing but isn't it illegal? My buddy got stopped and ticketed for it on his gixxer. He had em in the side fairings and under the tail. Looked sick but he got ticketed. He said red and blue are the worst to do because they can get you for impersonating an officer.

Pretty much all mods you do are illegal. They bother you more when the lights blink. i havent had any problems with the lights just on. I got crap from a couple of cops complaining about the HID though. I just keep telling them that on a bike you have to be seen no matter what it takes.

hey did you have to remove that plastic thingy behind the vent in the back seat? i want the lights to come out of all vents.
oh and I got orange of course.
A cop did roll up next to me and i thought i was gonna get ****ed with..
my bike was flashing away on some patern i chose.
he drove next to me for a couple of miles and was just looking at my bike .
my lights are orange and if they are blinking kinda looks like some awsome Hazord lights.

I plan on getting more lights.. Varad def are bright as hell. the guy wasnt lieing when he said they were better than the rest.
I wish i had the remote.
I drilled a half inch hole in the right small black cover plastic on the tank front.
and placed my button there.
looks cool.

The brand is Vorad.. i heard its one of the best out and most expensive.
it looks sweet.

That post suggests the guys bike in that link was tasteless? Personally i liked it, would love lighting effects like that on my bike...maybe not those colours though! :)

Well if your wanting suttle lighting effects on the bike then that vid was certainly over the top but who is to say thats a bad thing to make a statement? Sure a Repsol will do that on its own as those GSXR and R1 dont hold a torch to the mighty Repsols!! Say you pulled up and there were another 10 Repsols parked there.....not likely but never know......thats the time you need some bling bling...flash flash...have half the general public in the near vasinity rolling around on the floor with seizures!! lol :evilgrin:
