The blue is transparent and the material itself is soft and bendable so as not to damage the bike when the key is in the ignition.

But, before you all browse to the swag page (http://www.repsolforum.com/swag) looking to purchase them, I have some interesting news I'd like to share.

I'm not sure if you all are aware, but the owner of Pazzo Racing (http://pazzoracing.com) is a member here. His name is Markus (http://www.repsolforum.com/forums/member.php?u=119) and he also owns a sweet ass Repsol with all the trick bits. Markus wants to support our forum and has offered to purchase the first batch of key chains with the intent of giving one out to each of the Repsol Owners on the forum... FOR FREE!!!

Since Markus is taking care of the key chains, I offered to cover shipping but donations for that are always welcome. :)

Additional key chains are available for $5.00 each shipped anywhere in the world. If you would be interested in a few more, just let me know in your PM and we'll work it out. :)

I've been asked for my PayPal address so those of you or wish can make a donation. Well, it's down there at the bottom of the page where it has been from day one. :)

I receive many responses already, I figure with the new postage rates in place, they may cost as much as a dollar to send. I was surprised at how much more it costs me to send out the socks because of the thickness of the envelope. I think these things will probably be about the same.

Okay, order has been made. We had to make one change though, the blue they had on their site (which looked to match perfectly) was actually much lighter than it looked. We had to switch to a darker blue flex key chain that is not translucent. :( It still looks little bright but we'll have to see how they will look in person.

I updated the attachment in the first post to the image they provided. I should have their final proof tomorrow, but I'm not sure if it will show the color of the fob or just the layout.

Well, the place making the key chains can't tell me what color blue is actually used. Some say it's dark blue like I want, and others say it's light blue which I don't want. I mean this is their business and thy don't know the colors they sell? Sheesh!

So, I have requested samples in a few colors so I can know for sure what we are getting. I want to make sure we don't get stuck with a lot of key chains that nobody wants to use. :(

So it may take a little longer to get these in our pockets, but at least they will be what we all want when we get them. I'll keep you posted on further progress.

Also, I only have about twenty people who have sent me their mailing address. This is no scam people, Markus wants everyone here to have a key chain so what's stopping you. It's free!!!! :D

They're here!!! I updated the first post with an actual photo of the key chain. I was very pleased to find that they are indeed a nice deep blue and are made very sturdy.

Walked outside the other day, reached in my pocket to grab my key, and it wasn't there. Got to the bike, there it was in the ignition!

Got lucky on that one - Dallas is blessed with the worst crime rate in the country, and vehicular related crime is at the top of Dallas' list.
