Getting this helmet for my birthday....should be here in 7 days.
I thought it was kinda cool...not bad for 135.00 plus California taxes:(

That's cool - different from anything I've seen.
You'll have to let us know how the Scorpion works out - I've never worn one.

Nice! I have a Scorpion as well, 2 actually...both exo-700's and I LOVE em. They are really great quality and relatively inexpensive...although I believe yours is a exo-400, the 700's are $189.00 (supposedly better ventilation)
Anyhow, one of the sickest things about the Scorpions is the quick release face shields. I swap the dark smoke for the clear at night and it takes like 4 seconds. Lightweight and DOT and Snell approved. Now if only they made a Repsol one!!!:D

Yep, you are correct...its a exo-400.
I tried one of the display helmets and was amazed on the fit...very snug compared to other XL's from other manufacturers.
Before I bought this Scorpion, I checked to make sure that they didnt make their money by charging a hideous amount of money for their shields like some of the others(Aria, Shoei, etc)
Another plus for this entry line of Scorpion is that it has features that you might find in higher end helmets.
1. Removable snap liner
2. Noseguard(I think thats what it is called)
Chinguard for this helmet is only 8.00
And shields start at 30.00(dark tint Everclear)
I can hardly wait for it to get here.:banana

Dude just go to the nearest shop that carries them and try one on. You may be surprised at how light and comfortable they are for the price. Then...ask them to demonstrate the quick-release shield feature....I think you'll be sold:)
