Repsol Lovers,
Just bought mine 2 weeks ago, 05 with 2K. Switched from a Triumph Speed4 to Repsol. Hell of a difference b/w the two rides, love repsol. Always wanted to ride one of these when I was in India, had a poster in my room since 1996. Finally made it. Live in Milwaukee, WI.
Glad to find a repsol dedicated forum. Want to get rid of the rear fender keeping stock turn lights, any suggestions?

Cool Im first. :p
Hello and welcome to the site. Lots of good people and info here.
Good looking bike, and congrats on the purchase.
As for the FE ?, try here http://www.repsolforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=37
A lot of good ideas. I went with the Competition Werkes Ltd FE. The blinkers dont stick out like the stock ones:D, and are plenty bright.
Again welcome and enjoy the stay.

And congrats on the possible wedding coming up!
And to go with the fender eliminator... that bike needs decals!

Before you make up your mind on the stock (gigantic) blinkers, take a look at these links:
Footpeg Blinkers (http://www.repsolforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=526&referrerid=138) <-- this thread discussed rear footpeg blinkers. Speaks for itself.
MotoDiablo TailLight (http://www.motodiablo.com/onlinestore/honda/cbr1000rr/cbr1000rr-ufo.html) <-- Very nice integrated taillight allows you to have a blinker in the taillight.
I purchased the taillight but haven't installed it yet - squidracer has the taillight installed on his bike and it's quite trick. That taillight, combined with the LED blinkers in the footpegs, is the route I'm going. REALLY cleans up the rear of the bike and provides as much or more blinker visibility as the horrendously ugly stock blinkers.
Plus there are tons of other blinker options out there....;)
P.S. While you're researching blinkers... find you some nice riding gloves. You'll thank yourself if the inevitable ever happens.

Fellow Repsols...Thankyou for the welcome and genuine concern. Forgot to take my gloves that day....was excited to ride the bike out of the dealership, have been wearing them religiously ever since.
